Express Train.

Hello everybody!

I know it's been too long since last blogged. Turns out that the place I was staying at for my internship has no internet.

I know, I almost died but survived because of my trustee old korean dramas =')

I'll be doing a short and quick post because I've been procrastinating all day when I should be writing my internship weekly report (as it is I have 2 weeks worth of report to write now) and do accounts for SSLAA.

Gosh, the amount of things that happened since I last blogged!

1. Annaliza weds Nishiram!

All 2 days (started from Friday night up until Sunday evening) was crazy! I have tonnes of fun, had my own little nervousness attack on the way to church and most of all, so so happy that my cousin's big day finally came! So many things happened that I can't write all of them here but hopefully I will explain more in details later on!

2. Internship
I don't exactly have a picture of my office but so far, I'm loving my job and my bosses! I hear complains from my friends that they hate their job and their bosses but I love mine because I think they're pretty awesome. I can't wait to see what else is in store for me for the next 6 more weeks =D

3. Deepavali

The festival of lights! As per usual, the ladies had to have their photoshoot and we all totally looked great!

THE END.

Right, you probably think that whether I blog or not at this point, it doesn't even make a difference. I need to let people know that I'm still alive!

After only a week away from home, I realized that I really miss home. Especially when I fell sick on the first day of internship, I wish I could have just stayed at home and not go to work. But I still did and my boss actually had to send me home because I looked like I might pass out.

Things between Russel and I aren't exactly all happy either. It's not that we're not happy but we see less of each other now. REALLY less. And sometimes, that takes a toll on us because we totally rely on phone calls and text messages. But nevertheless, we're still going strong and sometimes little things he says or do for me just cheers me up =)

Anyway, I would have to cut this blog post even shorter because Russel's back from mamak and I can't video call and type at the same time. I can multitask but not until that extend la hahhahahaa.

Till then, bye!

I'm leaving.........to Petaling Jaya.

I really should be packing right now but noooooo, I feel the need to pen some of my thoughts down.

First off, reality hit me earlier that tonight will be the last night I'll be sleeping in my own bed for the next 2 months (though I'll be back on weekends) BUT I FEEL SO SAD! These are the list of things I will miss while I'm away:

1. My beds, my pillows, my messy room, EVERYTHING in my room!
2. My own bathroom. Well technically I share the bathroom with my bro at home but there, it's on the outside.
3. Watching series. I don't know if I'll be able to download/stream series while I'm there and by the time I get back on weekends to actually download them, I'll probably just bring all my downloaded stuff back to PJ and watch it during the week. I'll be a week back for every show. Haih.
4. Laundry. I haven't quite figured out how that's gonna happen. Am I bringing all my laundry back on the weekend for my mom to wash or washing it there? Either way, I'll be bringing a week worth of clothes over!
5. Freedom. Freedom to eat anytime because there's always the fridge, freedom to be in my room all day and no one cares. Though, I might have more freedom going out lol.

This is my first time staying out and though the idea may sound fun, but living outside with limited money and resources do scare me la. Luckily, I have my trusty ol' car and laptop with me =)

Oh, why am I saying this is my last night sleeping at home when I'm only starting on Monday?

Well, this Saturday is my cousin, Annaliza's wedding! Technically, she's not blood-related to me. She's my chindian (blood-related) cousin's cousin. I don't know how to explain how that came about but yea, I call her my cousin! So yes, wedding on Saturday, Sasha (chindian cousin) thought it'll be a good idea to stay the night in the hotel so we don't have to rush.

I'm actually pretty excited and nervous at the same time. Why? I've only been a bridesmaid once in my life thus far and that was for my sister's wedding. I remember VERY WELL, while I was walking down the aisle, my face blushed up like a tomato. I hope that won't happen again on Saturday.

And two, there's the bridal party dance during the dinner. I've not been dancing for YEARS and needless to say, I need some WD-40 for my joints. I look so stiff and I'm pretty sure after only 2 practices, I still do.

Three, I'll be coming home on Sunday and on Sunday night, I'll be off to PJ. I hope I can take a nap before I leave on my glorious bed T.T

So there you have it, this weekend is gonna be SO hectic and I might just have an awesome sleep on Sunday night and start off fresh on Monday morning for work. Oh, did I mention why I'll be living in PJ? I'll be starting my 2-month internship with Softpillow, Mollycoddle & CO! AHAHAHAHA.

Thankfully, I'll have a partner in crime, Chi Yen all through the internship! We are no strangers because we went on a trip to Taman Negara in June! =D

I so want to sleep right now, but I actually stopped packing halfway to blog. Looks like I'll have a fast checklist and then sleep. Tomorrow, I shall pack my working clothes and things to bring to PJ.

I sure do hope I'll see you soon, blog! Probably with less things to do during the week, I might just blog more if I have the internet.

Bye everybodeh!

Love

Guess who's not studying for her paper on Tuesday but instead, decided to blog now?

Oh yes, so lame but yeaaaaaa, it's me =D

I don't even know where to begin. In my previous post, I said I was gonna blog about my trip to an advertising company but I decided to procrastinate all week long and now, I shall!

There's a subject called Seminar : Current Issues in Mass Communications that I took during this short semester and honestly, after 7 weeks, I'm still trying to figure out what is it all about. Simply because I paid rm2500 for this subject and all I did was go to class once a week when it was supposed to be twice, for an hour and during that time, we're mostly just sitting around wondering if we could leave the class already.

So yeaaaa, we did have 2 assignments though and one of them was this trip. It could have been to any place related to the mass comm field (purpose was to do a documentary on mass comm related fields) and since Media Prima and the big boys didn't allow us to film inside their offices, we went to smaller firms and settled with this company called Nova Fusion.

What was supposed to be a 2 to 3 hour field trip turned into 7 hours. Yes, we were there from 1pm to 8pm. Worst part was, many of us just had brunch because we thought we could go for a late lunch after the trip. Yea, that DID NOT happen.

Aside from that, I really enjoyed our trip there! I learned so much about them and really, what it takes to be in the advertising line. I would LOVE to intern or work with them given the chance buuuuuuuuut...... I think my mom would kill me as of now because everyone there goes home at 12am everyday. Our presentation turned out really nice though and I must thank my other group members because of this presentation and the video editing, they had sleepless nights while I just wrote the report.

Fast forward, it was le cousin's bachelorette/ bachelor (she and her fiance just decided to have ONE party for the both of them hahahaa) party last Friday night and it was fun! Partly because it's only 2 weeks away from the wedding and we're all excited about it and it was the first time I brought Russel out to meet my cousins =) I have to say though, (at least I thought so) I think everyone quite liked him!

I think everyone had a little chat with him that night and for my bro to come back and tell me that he thinks my boyfriend is 'quite friendly', I was like ohhhh yeahhhh! But still he squirmed when he saw a picture of us on my laptop =.="

All in all, I was more than grateful that he drove me to the party despite having only 4 hours of sleep the night before and a full day of event in college before the party. Words can't begin to describe how much I love this glutton pig of mine for all the things he is willing to do for me =) Oh yes, I got A BIT tipsy, not DRUNK because my 20-year old cousin challenged me to this 'skittle' vodka shot that he made himself and being my first shot of whatever, I almost cried because I was breathing fire through my nose. LOL! Russel and my cousin got worried and my brother wanted to disown me because I can't drink well =.="

Russel thought I was different that night =D He said I was louder, happier and that I actually talked a lot! Seriously, I couldn't have been THAT quiet when I'm with him right? But he said it was a shockingly good surprise. Hahahahaha.

Ok, I guess I'm boring everyone who is reading this now to the core so I'ma go and watch some shows. I shall study like mad tomorrow =) Wait, does anyone actually read my blog?!

Till next time, don't have Monday blues!

1 day till Business Comm. final paper
4 days till cousin's church wedding rehearsal and Aedan's first birthday dinner
10 days till cousin's wedding
12 days till my first day of 2-month internship
31 days till our 6th month anniversary, Russel and I (on the eve of my birthday HEHE)
32 days till my 21st birthday (no birthday party, sorry LOL)

Long Overdue

I've been meaning to blog for the past week but it can be a little difficult to talk about things when.....I don't have many things to talk about? Yes yes, I lead quite a boring life you see. With classes only twice a week, imagine my life now.

Anyway, in no particular order....

I FINALLY WATCHED HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA TODAY!

I'm so happy because last Friday, Russel and I made a trip to Mid Valley, wanting to catch this movie because I've been dying to watch it and to MY horror, the cinema was full O.O So I was as disappointed as this picture below.

It's a scene from the movie! When Count Drac was talking to his daughter, Mavis about her going out to the human world on her 118th birthday. HAHAH. Yes, I know that now AFTER I've watched it. Hehe. And then I gave Russel that look to which he went "whaaaat".

It's a feel-good kind of movie so I definitely recommend it if you just wanna go 'aww' and laugh and not think so much of the story line.

On a more serious note, I just recovered from a er... stomach flu? Wind? Whatever it was, it scared the hell out of me. Imagine waking up at 4AM, ran to the bathroom and the pain was so bad that you start to have cold sweat and feel like you're about to pass out? Yeah, that was me. I would so spare the details here but needless too say, I didn't sleep that night so I can't possibly go for class at 7.15AM. Woke up to find out that Mom had some stomach problem too, bu gastric for her.

Today during dinner time, I got a call from my aunt asking if I could bring her and my grandma to the clinic because they've been vomiting and purging. So yes, they've gotten the bug, both at different times. Came back to find out that the brother also had his own episode on Tuesday and that's about the whole family who managed to fall sick in the past week! Eeek, I hope everyone (including myself) recovers soon! Supposed to go out for a good dinner on Sunday night for grandma's birthday but earlier she told me she doesn't feel like eating anymore =.="

At this point, I wish I had more pictures to make my post look more interesting. Ah yes, this will definitely bring out the inner Korean in me.

Last Thursday, a couple of us got invited to Ian, our college mate's birthday party at his place. We thought it was only us, turns out his whole family was there along with both his grandmothers. So, there were A LOT of people. We waited till almost 9 for our dinner but it was so worth it! This is what we had:

Bibimbap - Rice mixed with lots of vege, egg, tofu, basically just anything.

Kimbap - Like sushi but only BIGGER.

Not sure if I got it right but it sure looked like Tofu Jigae - Tofu with some meat boiled in a slight spicy soup base!

Found out that this is called Jap Chae - Glass noodle Korean style. It was yummy!

Gyeran Mari - Egg roll

Last but not least,

Ddukbokki!

Everything there was delicious! His mom is so talented in making Korean cuisine, I felt like my Korean food cravings were fulfilled! On top of that, she also made lamb stew! Just amazing.

I have one last thing to talk about but I shall keep it for my next post (probably tomorrow when I'm feeling bored again LOL) and it's about my trip to an advertising firm! What an eye-opener it was =) And the trip took 7 hours - Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaat.

Yes.......till then, bye all you lovely people!

Cause It's Always a Good Time

I haven't blogged in exactly a week =D I'm just gonna talk about the highlights of my week, considering that I've been lazying around all day but in fact, I have to study for a midterm tomorrow.

Sooooo, last Saturday I asked my brother to bring me to Publika for a metal core gig that Russel's band was playing. Took me some time to decide whether I wanna see that rocker side of him but I was thinking, "What kind a girlfriend would I be if I don't even try to understand one of his many passions?" Plus, I haven't seen him play the guitar and have only heard from his friends that he's very good at it. And so I went.

I was like a lost sheep. ALL THE TIME. He had a great time laughing at me everytime when people in front of us started moshing and I was on reverse gear, holding onto his hand so tight and hiding slightly behind him. He laughed everytime. And when he went off to perform, I was standing with Russel's bandmate, Kevin's friends. They were extremely friendly, we talked and for a moment I forgot where I was. Until the biggest mosh pit while I was there happened. Again, I reversed until almost hitting the wall but Kevin's guy friend stood in front of us girls and for that, I was so grateful =P

Other than that, I thought it was a great first experience for me. It was something different and as Russel said and I quote, "It's a kind of culture." Kinda true, but not the kind of culture that I would like embrace =] I thought they played well, people were really feeling it until after the performance, Russel told me all the problems they had on-stage. LOL, needless to say, they were really good in saving the day =)

Above is a picture of the ticket! Hahaha, it was too dark to take any pictures anyway, so that's the only proof I have that I was there!

Le best friend left again for London! Again is because she comes back every year (because she can!) and so, summer break was over and so was her holiday here in Malaysia. We decided to send her off to the airport because when she left for the first time last September, we didn't send her off. Simply because she said she'll be back in December that year, which was only 3 months later. But this time, she has plans to fly to Australia to be with Ian for Christmas and New Year's, hence she most probably won't be coming back to Malaysia till next May.

So on Friday night, we (minus Grace) gathered at her home and had a slumber party. As per usual, the chitty-chatter of our group (Charissa, Wen Yin and I) talked from 11PM till about 3AM about life, our lives while the other 2 curled up in bed listening to us. Honestly, nothing was more precious than moments like that where we shared our happiness and sorrows, thoughts and more. Sadly, times like these only comes once a year =)

All woke up groggily at 6AM and we went to airport to send her off! Above is the picture of us right before she crossed the gate. That goes without saying, we'll definitely miss her and can't wait for next May to come!

It was Mid-Autumn Festival yesterday night! Without fail, my mom would get some lanterns (yes, we are so traditional that we can't get those lanterns with cartoon pictures on it. I don't like it either) and light them up even though her youngest child (ME!) doesn't spend hours outside playing lanterns and candles anymore. But I do help her out every year, showing her my skills. LOL WHUT.

The best part was when mom saw those electric lantern of a lion the other day, she wanted to get one for Aedan O.O My thoughts were, he's like 300KM away, how is he gonna play with it?! Plus, he'll probably just throw it around HAHA.

Talking about Aedan, he turned 11 months old on Saturday! And we'll be celebrating his 1st birthday in advanced when he comes back to Kajang next month =D Here are more photos of him at Legoland! Credits to le sister, or should I say brother-in-law since he sent me the pictures while we were on Skype =)

LOL, going for the duck-face look (I wonder who taught him. NOT ME!) and tryna be gangsta at the same time.

Can so imagine him saying "Ah, ah, aaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh!!" in this photo =D

You know what they said about the "honeymoon" period in relationships? There definitely are times when I feel it's over because things start to get a little more serious but then there he goes making my heart melt everytime he says something not every man can and I think to myself, "Guys like these still exist???!!!" Gosh, I wish our honeymoon period will never end *Fantasy mode*

I'm in class and blogging, sue me!

Just about 10 hours from previous post, I can't help but to download the Blogger app for iPhone because goodness gracious, the lecturer is not his usual funny self today. Everyone seems to be falling asleep and he only gave us a 5-minute break from our 3 hour class.

Hence, to keep myself awake, I decide to blog on my phone (though I'm pretty sure that I don't have anything interesting to say). So let's just talk about Legoland!

The sister and brother in law bought the annual pass to Legoland simply because they plan to go more than 10 times in that one year. Why? Because they stay 20 minutes away from Nusajaya, where Legoland is! Oh, JPO is also around that area I think.

So last weekend, they both went to check out the place and had fun on their own without Aedan first but they came back with truckloads of Lego! Well, I suppose so, judging from the size of the plastic bag.

The next picture I got was the picture of Aedan fiddling around with some Lego! Yes, we do not support iPads as toys in our family simply because we want Aedan to grow up the way his mother, father, uncle and aunt grew up.

That's why, everytime when Aedan comes back home, he'll have one full full bag of books and soft toys =)

Sorry for the abrupt end to my blog post, but one class is over and I'm off to my next! Till then!

First One of the Century!

Hellooooooo! Gosh, it's definitely been awhile since I've written anything (assignments are not counted) and I'm still a bit dazed as to what am I doing here O.o I've used back my old blog's URL because I said so! Hahahaha.

Nevertheless, Blogger has 'grown up' so much, making customization of blogs WAY easier! Back when I was actively blogging, I had to edit HTML codes taken from a third party website and see if it'll look nice on my blog. Now, you can choose all kinds of colours for which font, size of fonts and etc etc etc. Reminds me of that crappy website I created using a website. Get it get it? A website to create websites? LOL, lame. Sorry. But true story, bro.

So, let's see what have I been up to lately.

1. Short semester makes me feel lazier than EVER! As it is I'm always lazy, short sem somehow doubles everything. Double class times, same amount of workload with HALF the time and double the amount of minutes I spend thinking ".......wait what? What did the lecturer just say? what what what?"

2. I have been worrying sick for my internship. Why do I have the feeling like no one wants to employ me?! Am I that bad at interviews that they can't really tell if I'm a friendly person or not? NOOOOOzzz...

3. ..............That was my mental breakdown, above. Seriously, time is ticking and I need a job and a good one at least!

4. As I'm typing this, I'm reading Nadia's (Ex Fly FM DJ) tweets about this man outside her apartment who is having an argument with his girlfriend. There was something about 'unicorns', asking the girlfriend to slap him and now, I know he bought her a car too! Haha, this is hilarious.

That was so random, I'm sorry. My fickle mind, wanders into the world of Twitter very easily. Hehe.

So, I have about less than a month to wrap this short semester up, slightly more than a month till le cousin's wedding and to the beginning of my internship! Things seem to be on some kind of fast forward mode because hey, we're entering the month of October in just 6 days! Amazing I tell you, how time flies.

Today also marks the 4th month that Russel and I have been together =D We're not that kind of couple that count the days and the months all the time but we sure do remember the night where he sheepishly confessed (yes, I saw that coming after a month of courting, maybe? lol).

Oh yes, October is the month of birthdays in my family too! Grandmother, aunt, uncle, cousin brother and now, Aedan's too! Aedan's my nephew and tell me you won't say 'AWW' to this.

Because if you won't, then probably this is not the blog for you. I love my nephew more than anything and be prepared to be bombarded with lots and lots of pictures of him! And YES, I love my boyfriend too, so if you can't stand some pictures of us together, you can leave also =P

I look so silly with my bunny teeth but he looks really good when he's smiling/laughing naturally. This was a candid photo though.

Nah, that was just an early warning for my future readers. Honestly, there probably isn't many people who are interested in what I have to say, really. Like my brother haha, so I'm not too worried.

Here are some pictures of my best-est friends in the world! We may meet up as a group like twice a year, occasionally post up 'hello's and 'where to eat' posts on our group but when we get together, it's like as if we were never apart. There was no picture evidence but after lunch that day, we walked to town! the same route we used to take when we're going to Mcdonald's or to tuition that was all in town. It was a walk down memory lane indeed =)

Till next time (which will probably be next week or so, this week is pretty crazy! assignments, an event and my internship interview!), enjoy the week!
